Hello Honey Bio
Hello Honey is a duo from Cape Town, South Africa, formed in April 2024 by life-long best friends Nick Kampf and Joshua Samson, both singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalists.
Josh Samson has been involved in the music industry since age 9. From his first major performances for Nelson Mandela’s birthdays (2008 and 2011) and playing at the FIFA World Cup opening draw (2010) to more recent endeavors like touring California (2018) and Portugal (2022), and performing at Namibia’s largest Seafood & Wine festival in 2023, Josh has invested his 10,000+ hours into his performing and studio productions. He has produced and assisted in mixing various artists from around the world and has over 40 releases across the DSPs. Josh is involved in Samson Brothers and co-founded a stock music library, Revelation Beats, alongside his brother Matthew, who was an award winning musician on Disney Cruise. Over the last 6 months, Josh has been working on releasing music through his own name and recently signed to a boutique label in New York City. Finally reunited with Nick, they are able to pursue their dream of playing music together after creating and working with one another for over 10 years.
Nick Kampf started playing music at the age of 14. His love for songwriting and guitar playing led him to being booked multiple nights every week playing at restaurants, clubs and private events throughout his high school career. At the age of 18, Nick moved to Florida USA to begin a career working on superyachts and worked as a deckhand/ bosun and watersports instructor on Charter Yachts. Although Nick loves being on the ocean and travelling to exciting places, his main love was playing and singing for the guests. Nick's love for music has inspired a pivot in his career which led him to reuniting with his best friend, Joshua, and forming the long awaited duo of Hello Honey.
