Angelo Thomas is the hard rocker turned soulful pop musician and is half of the sibling duo, Sarah Jane & Angelo Thomas, where he performs regularly at corporate, private, and wedding events.
Angelo’s musical career started out in 2001 when he fronted his first band Askani with a few friends from high school. He grew up in a convent, singing in the choir from an early age and after losing touch with music completely, his passion for performance was reignited in 2000 when he played the lead role of Joseph in Joseph and his technicolored dream coat.
Following a good 7 years of performing and touring SA in Rock Bands, Scarlett System, and 12th Avenue (now known as Mark Haze), Angelo made a break away from the eye-liner and dark attire to move towards the light and find himself reborn into a style that can only best describe him as an Acoustic Popper. Influenced by all genres of music, his love for Pop and recreating “popular” songs on his Acoustic guitar, has given him the opportunity to completely strip down each song into its raw form.
Expect to hear his unique versions of songs by Marvin Gaye, John Mayer, Jason Mraz, Maroon 5, James Brown, James Morrison, Bill Withers, Ed Sheeran, and loads of others.
