The Shake & Bake Entertainment Zulu Troupe was born in December 2015 and founded by the late Khaya Mbimba. Khaya's infectious positivity and passion for the performing arts extended far beyond the stage. His energy, charisma, and genuine love for entertaining people made a lasting impression on everyone he met. More than just an exceptional performer, Khaya was a mentor, leader, and friend whose influence continues to inspire the talented artists who proudly carry his legacy today.
Today, that legacy lives on through the Shake & Bake Zulu Troupe, alongside our Gumboot Dancers and Marimba Band. United by a shared commitment to excellence, authenticity, and cultural pride, the group delivers vibrant performances that celebrate the rich traditions and rhythms of South Africa. Every performance is carefully choreographed to create an unforgettable experience, combining powerful dance, energetic drumming, colourful costumes, and audience interaction.
